I purchased this portable HDTV for my husband's 75th birthday and was I ever surprised after reading some of the negative comments regarding both the sound and the picture! He too was just thrilled and we had it connected by our cable provider to enable us to utilize the cable networks outside on our two patios.

About what you can expect for the price paid - DennisK -
I bought this TV for 5 (New) from seller KDF. Why anyone would pay up to 4 for the same TV is beyond me. I wanted to mount it under a cabinet in the kitchen. The fact that there was no template, or instructions for doing so, made it somewhat difficult. Once I did get it mounted under the cabinet, however it was not possible to view the picture satisfactorily from both near and far, and/or while either standing or sitting. So, I took it down and placed it on the counter. This provided for acceptable viewing from all parts of the room. The sound quality is less than desirable, but I found that lowering the Treble to the Minimum, and raising the Bass to the Maximum provides an acceptable sound quality. All in all, it's about what you can expect for the price paid.

I did not research this TV before purchasing it, if I had I would've found out it has very limited viewing except straight in and the sound is horrible very tinny.

After trying it for one day I packed it up and shipped it back.

The only good thing about this transaction is that Amazon has a great return policy. They furnished by way of my computer a return shipping label allowing me to put this TV back in the box and drop it off at the UPS store to be shipped back.

This TV is the worst TV I ever bought--it has the worst picture and sounds like a tin Can--after tryin every adjustment on it I went out and bought a new TV as this one is a waste of time and money---how they sold this as a HDMI on AMAZON is beyond me---Even the regular TV picture is gross--I have nothing good to say about this TV or AMAZON for selling it to me!!!! Buyer Beware!!!
